Layla Demay is a French journalist, author and Documentary film director. She is the co-author with Laure Watrin of the books series ''Les Pintades''. She is the co-host of the TV series ''Les Pintades'', aired as part of the TV show ''Les Nouveaux Explorateurs'', broadcast on Canal Plus. == Biography == Layla Demay was born in Paris in 1971. She received a Master’s degree in French literature from La Sorbonne University in Paris as well as a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communication from Institut Français de Presse in Paris. She started her career in France as a journalist and producer for CAPA French TV Press Agency, before joining the TF1 newsroom. In 1997, she moved to New York, where she became a correspondent for various French media outlets, including flagship news program Envoyé Spécial on French State Channel France 2.
